We decided to host Thanksgiving here this year. We made that decision before we were pregnant, but it worked out even better since we had a newborn. It was great to have everyone come here rather than try to travel home 4 1/2 hours with a 2 week old baby. My parents, Jon's parents, and Jon's sister & her husband all traveled here to spend Thanksgiving with us. Jon's brother and his wife live here already, so it was perfect. My SIL, Juliet, coordinated all the food and only allowed me to bake one pie. (Thanks, Juliet) My friend and co-worker, Brandi and her husband Nick joined us as well. We all had a great time.
Adeline had her first doctor appointment on Tuesday. Here she is in her precious hat that her Tiny made her.
Waiting naked in the exam room.
Baking with her Tiny
Enjoying her swing
Watching football
Rocking with Momma
Isn't she precious when she sleeps with her mouth open? I just love it!

Week 3 was a week of firsts. We took you to your first restaurant - Las Margarita on Friday night. You screamed the whole way there then right as we pulled in to the parking lot you spit up then fell asleep. You slept through the whole eating experience. Saturday, Momma & NaNa went shopping for a little bit and you stayed home with Daddy & Pappy. Saturday night, we went out to eat again at Olive Garden. You once again slept the whole time. You have started having little crying fits, but they don't usually last very long. You're still eating every 2-3 hours, so that makes for a sleepy Momma. Your umbilical cord fell off on Friday, too and your belly button looks exactly like Momma's! (outie at the top & innie at the bottom) Who know belly buttons were genetic? We can't wait to experience more and more firsts with you. We love you so so much!
