October Happenings

The Fall is a busy time for us.  Let's see what we did the first part of October...

This little one likes to sneak into the pantry and get "smarshmallows."

My dad made this thing to mount Whitt's gun on.  The Texas was made by a guy Jon used to work with when we lived in Dallas.  We hung it above his closet.

He's liking playing with these toys from this angle.

I bought Adeline some new pjs and they came with a sleep mask. She was so excited about it and has slept with it on her face almost every night since.  I don't know why, but I laugh every time I look on the monitor and see that.

We tried some exotic fruit from our local grocery store one day.  I can't even remember what it was called, but it was definitely strange.

Annabel found some lip gloss.

On the way home from Annabel's dance class one day we spotted this game & fish truck turning into the little "lake" by our house.  We followed it and got to watch him stock it with tiny little catfish.

Whitt started crawling...

This little ray of sunshine all ready to go to Bible Study Fellowship.  She's learning so much about the life of Moses there.

We had lots of unseasonably warm days in October, so we spent a lot of time outside.  Whitt is a huge fan of this swing.

We have an hour in between Adeline's school drop-off time and Annabel's on Thursdays.  The grocery store right by church put in a Dunkin Donuts.  We go every week..hah!

We bought Whitt this portable sound machine to hook on his carseat.  He loves playing with it and sometimes would even fall asleep holding it.

Whitt got some shots and then I drug him around running errands.

It didn't bother him too much, though.

We spent a rainy Friday morning playing with Caroline while Adeline was in school.

Annabel has discovered puzzles.  I think she'd work them all day long.

One weekend Jon was supposed to take the girls camping.  Well, we ended up getting a flood, so he pitched the tent in the living room.  They thought that was the best thing ever.

We ate cookies and watched a movie from inside the tent.

Whitt fell in love with his lovey.

We did some Halloween crafts.

My mom and aunt came to visit for the War Eagle craft fair.  Tater Tot was teaching Adeline all about make-up one morning before school.

And then Annabel left to go spend a week in Texas.  These two sisters were kissing each other goodbye.
