My parents came in town this past weekend to celebrate my mom's birthday. We started off our weekend with burgers at Grub's then we walked to Orange Mango for some yummy frozen yogurt.
(bye bye)
Saturday, we got up and headed to the Tontitown Grape Festival, but I think we must have gone too early. There was NOTHING going on except a few little booths.
Then we did a little shopping in Rogers, then my mom and I took Adeline and the boys home for a nap and we went to the Promenade for a little more shopping. We had a good mother/daughter time together.
Saturday night we celebrated with some fajitas and a strawberry cake. This cake is my grandmother's recipe and it did not turn out very pretty. It did, however, taste very good.
While my mom and I were shopping, I got some dishwashing gloves. I've never owned a pair of these, and I'm so excited to have them! I think they are going to rescue my poor hands. I was so excited about them, that I did all the dishes myself.
Sunday we went to church then out for lunch and my parents headed home.
(Getting ready for church. I'll admit that I mostly only put this in here because I kind of look tan.)
Jon, Adeline, and I all took long naps then we went to our church's Family Fun Night at the Springdale Aquatic Center.
(Adeline Richey, Landon Sabatini, & Beckham Floyd)
We had a great time!
