My mom came in town this past week to get some Nana time in while Jon and I worked. We didn't get many pictures, but my mom took a few with her phone and texted them to me throughout the day.

Swinging
Mom brought Adeline to eat lunch with me every day so that was very nice. She got to play in the ball pit some.
She wasn't quite sure what to think.
Reading some books Wednesday morning.
I did some rearranging in the kitchen on Monday since Adeline kept getting into everything. I left a bottom drawer and cabinet empty to put some toys in for her to play with while we're cooking dinner. When my mom got into town Monday evening, we went to Target to find some toys. We found a cute little pot with little vegetables and a spoon in it, and this little baby kitchen. She loves both of them!
Nana and Adeline had a great time together. I wish Nana could be here every week. She was such a huge help to me! I came home to dinner on the table, then she cleaned up while we got Adeline ready for bed, not to mention all the other things she did around the house. But most of all, it was so nice knowing Adeline was getting to spend time with someone who loves her so very much.
I'm sure it was a huge blessing to nana as well! I love that I have the priviledge to wake up everyday and see my sweet little Keegens face and kiss him goodnight every night!! How lucky is Adeline to have such a great Nana--near or far!!
ReplyDeleteJacob, our first grand is a senior this year and many day at any given time I will get a text from him that says, "Hey Nana" and it still touches my heart today just like the first time he said it 17 1/2 years ago. You are building a "Nana Legacy". All I want all 7 of ours to know is that when I'm gone "Nana loved me and she loved the Lord!"
ReplyDeleteI love being Nana! Adeline is SO precious. I enjoyed every minute. I just wish I could have spent more time with my Lindsey!
