Fall Fellowship

Jon and I hosted our connection group Fall Fellowship last night. This was our first year as members of this class to even attend this event. We had lots of yummy, fall foods and a pumpkin carving contest.

Desserts! Stacy made these adorable ghost apples & pears and I contributed the pumpkin spice cupcakes.

My Incredibly Busy Weekend

My mom came to town this weekend to help me prepare for Adeline's birth. We were so incredibly busy. I think the only times I sat down all weekend were to eat or go to sleep at night. We started our busy weekend as soon as my mom arrived Friday evening. We took all four of our dogs for a walk, went to eat at Olive Garden, then went to Petsmart to buy food and treats for my three babies. We also bought Tulip a jacket, but it's too small. :(

Saturday morning we woke up bright & early and began our day. We started at Target where we bought some post-baby comfortable "around the house" clothes. Then we headed to the Promenade for more shopping. We started at Motherhood Maternity where we bought some nursing bras, pajamas, and two more comfortable outfits to get me through the next couple of weeks. We then headed to B&BW for shower hostess gifts. And of course, what's a shopping trip with my mom if we don't buy shoes? We finally stopped long enough for lunch, then came home to re-evaluate our shopping situation. We made a new list then headed to Fayetteville for some Maggie Moo's and Hobby Lobby. I bought some crafting supplies to keep me busy with a little project while I'm off work next week waiting for Adeline. We came home and started a load of laundry - my nursing bras & pjs, Adeline's bedding, & onesies she'll wear the first couple of weeks. By this point I was craving a steak, so we headed to Outback. We were up until 11 doing laundry.

Then we were up early again Sunday for church. After church we rested before my shower that my connection group from church gave me.

The beautiful centerpiece. Isn't that the cutest idea?

After the shower, we headed to Wal-Mart for groceries. We stocked up on some staples to get Jon and me through the first few days at home with Adeline. I feel so terrible for not getting any pictures with my mom. She worked so hard this weekend making sure everything is just perfect for Adeline's arrival. My bags are packed, now all we need is a baby!

Belly Update & Curtains

Just 5 more weeks to go! I'm so excited to meet our precious baby girl.

This is me at 19 weeks and I thought I looked soooo pregnant!

This is me today, at 35 weeks. I really am sooo pregnant!

This weekend my wonderful in-laws came up to visit and to make curtains for Adeline's room. We spent Saturday morning cooking a big breakfast then going fabric shopping. We finally got started on the curtain construction that afternoon. When I say "we" I mean my MIL and SIL. I wrote Thank You notes and took a nap on the couch. :)

Juliet & Karen hard at work.

Jon and his parents...drumroll please!

TADA! Aren't they perfect?

Our little family (minus big brothers).

P.S. I'm sporting my TCU sweatpants in honor of their so-far undefeated season. Go Frogs!
