We had a lunch date with Rebekah & Cilla yesterday. It was so nice to get out of the house on such a yucky rainy day & play with friends.
Adeline loved pushing around Cilla's new stroller.
And Cilla enjoyed cleaning up all our messes.
They played pretty well together considering their ages. :)

I love hanging out with Rebekah & Cilla. Cilla is 8 months older than Adeline so I feel like Rebekah prepares for things to come. Eight months doesn't seem like a lot, but it makes a big difference the first couple of years. I think this story is just too cute not to share. Rebekah & I were having our own little conversation about lowering crib mattresses & how our girls don't seem to desire to climb out of their cribs and the girls were just playing and minding their own business....or so I thought. That is until Cilla turned around and said, "So & so jumped out. Broke her arm!" It just amazes me how in tune she was with the conversation going on around her & then to have the vocabulary to tell us a story! I can't wait until Adeline can join in conversations like that. Thanks again, Rebekah & Cilla. We had a great time!
I love the pics...I am going to have to borrow some! You crack me up.... that you picked up on Cilla talking about Avery's arm! And yes, good or bad they join in the conversations. Soon, you will start to have some major accountability! Let's get together again soon!
