Mother's Day 2012

Mother's Day this year was very special because we got to dedicate Annabel at church.  In a Baptist church, baby dedication is really more for the parents than it is the child.  It is just a public profession to raise your child the way God wants you to raise her.  We dedicated our family to the Lord.  It is such a special time for me.  My prayer every night over my girls is that Jon and I will raise them to love God with all their hearts.  I so honestly believe that if they get that right, then everything else will fall in to place.

We had to be at church earlier than usual for the dedication, so this is the best picture we could do on such little time.  If it hadn't been for my parents helping us get ready, we wouldn't have made it!

Annabel is making her old man face in this picture.  She has been rubbing her gums together from all those teeth coming in.  I think it's so cute.  As you can see, Adeline gets her blonde hair from her Nana.

Time to be dedicated!

After dedication, Jon's family got on the road, and we went to Marketplace for lunch with my parents.  I realized after eating that we had not taken any pictures of just us.  The sun was so bright.  All of us blue-eyed folks were squinting, so this is the best we could do.  :)

I am so blessed to be the mother of these two sweet little girls!  I couldn't do it without the support of my absolutely amazing husband and my two moms.  I love you all so much!
