Mommy's Bus AKA Viola (the post you've all been waiting for)

Guess what!  I finally got my dream car!  I made my public confession & admitted to myself that I desperately wanted a minivan last year on March 25, 2011.  Well it's felt like an eternity, but this Saturday, on August 11, 2012, I got a Honda Odyssey!!!

Meet VIOLA

It's not new, but it only has 20,000 miles on it.  I'm thinking the people before didn't have it long, or they didn't have kids, because the inside looks untouched.  I'm in love.  It has everything I want/need in a car.  But of course, my absolute favorite feature are the automatic sliding doors.

I'm okay with you laughing at me.  I was just like everyone else.  I told Jon once I'd rather walk than drive a minivan.  Now I'm in minivan heaven!

Adeline calls it "Mommy's Bus."  She likes for me to honk the horn & make the wipers go "swish, swish, swish."  But I do think she misses Polly the Pilot a little.  She told me yesterday, "Where's Mommy's old car?  I can't like this yet."  That's ok honey, because Mommy LOVES it.

  1. II love it and 'm jealous!! I really want a mini-van but I'm still too prideful to drive one. Ha! I know I would love it though!! Maybe I'll be motivated before long to trade my Pilot for an Odyssey! :)

  2. You'll never look back. I absolutely love my Sienna. It's really nice when you have family in town and all of you can go in one vehicle - comfortably.

  3. i just got one too and I love it! we have so much room and with baby # 3 on the way we need it. plus, we have already gone places with friends in it. I don't know why people talk bad about them, because it is nice ride. Ours is used, but in great condition. My favorite feature is also the doors! what a blessing!

  5. Congratulations on getting your dream car! Your Honda Odyssey looks to be in good shape. Always remember to keep all the car fluids and oils clean. They may evaporate, leak out, and lose their quality over time. Since they are all vital to your car’s performance, ensure that they are always topped up.

  6. How’s the new car now? Remember to stick to scheduled maintenance to keep the vehicle in top running condition. Also, make sure not to go beyond your weight limit since overloading will add unnecessary strain on your engine and suspensions, which will decrease your car’s service life.

  7. Hi, Lindsey! Well, Adeline seemed to be comfortable seated there, huh! Why did you buy a white minivan, by the way? Is it also the color that you want for your dream car? It looks great. I hope it would last for a long time! Take care!
